Most Americans say that President Donald Trump has not cooperated with congressional
investigators in the investigation into the removal of the House, while the majority says he has not given Congress everything he wants because he wants to block the investigation, according to a poll published by Monmouth University on Wednesday. .
About six in ten Americans say they do not believe Trump has cooperated in the House inquiry, compared to 31% of those who said he has. One out of every 10 people says that Trump gave members of Congress all the information they requested in the investigation, 14% say he handed "most of it", 35% say he gave "some" of him, and 30% say he did so. Do not give Congress anything.
When asked why Trump may have withheld information about Congress, 35% said it was "for legitimate reasons" and 53% say it was "to obstruct the investigation."
